Company Description
The Encore Resources Group (ERG), with its head office in Switzerland, is active as a trader,
service provider and processor of selected raw materials. ERG has local presences in Europe,
Africa, India and China and is continuously expanding.
To support the ongoing expansion, we are looking for a
AREA SALES MANAGER ASIA - ALUMINIUM FLUXES / STEEL FLUXES
In this role you should be a professional with at least 3 years experience in a technical or sales
position with a good understanding of the other field. Preferred is a background within the
Aluminium Metallurgical Flux industry or in Aluminium Metallurgy in raw materials or in Steel
fluxes.
Responsibilities:
• Identifies new prospects and establishes new customer relationships on a global scale
(PnL responsibility)
• Performs desk research and creates market statistics
• Manages existing relationships with customers
• Develops and maintains accurate knowledge of assigned accounts and/or industries
• Works out proposals as well as negotiates contract terms with customers
• Cooperates closely with Middle-Office / Logistics department to ensure smooth contract
execution
• Updates internal sales/trading-systems on a regular basis
Desired Skills & Experience
• Experience in the global Metal Flux industry or in Aluminium Metallurgy in raw materials or in
fluxes for the Steel Industry
• Experience and track-record in sales
• Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally
• Self-driven and entrepreneurial thinker
• High ability for networked thinking
• Strong ability to identify opportunities and transforming them into results
• Excellent written and oral Japanese and Korean skills is a must, further good command in
English is necessary, any other language is an advantage (Mandarin, Taiwanese, Malay, Thai,
Vietnamese, Indonesian, Filipino, German)
• Good technical comprehension and understanding
• Excellent computer skills, especially in Excel
• High service orientation and attention to detail
• Quick grasp, self-driven, works well under pressure and is a proactive thinker
